．Donation to the Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong for research on paediatric diseases for which the University named a research room as Shun Tak District Min Yuen Tong Research Room in appreciation of the Association’s support.

．Promote academic exchange between Hong Kong and Shunde in the medical field through arranging for a number of professors in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Community Health from the Chinese University of Hong Kong to lecture in Shunde hospitals.
