- 2015 activity
The Association held its Spring Reception on 8 March 2015 at the Hong Kong City Hall Maxim Palace Restaurant.
Between 10 and 12 April 2015 Directors returned to Shunde to “sweep the tomb” of ancestors and strengthen liaison with fellow clansmen. During the trip, they also donated to community welfare, visited the Daliang Yilian Home ; Shunde Polytechnic and Daliang North District Community Centre library.
On 16 April 2015, Mr. Ou Zhipeng, Deputy Head of of Civil , Religious, Foreign & Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau of Shunde (Right 2) visited Min Yuen Tong.
On 25 April 2015 Directors visited the Paediatrics Department of the Faculty of the Medicine in the University of Hong Kong to update themselves on the development and contribution of our donation to support research activities.
Facilitated Shunde doctors to visit Mary Hospital and attend seminar.
Between 31 October and 2 November 2015 Directors and Members returned to Shunde to “sweep the tomb” of ancestors and strengthen liaison with fellow clansmen. During the trip, they also donated to community welfare, visited the Daliang Fengcheng Home for the Aged , Daliang Hospital, Shunde Polytechnic and Daliang North District Community Centre .
To commemorate its 140th Anniversary, Min Yuen Tong held a series of celebrtaory activities to share the joy of the occasion with members and strengthen liaison with government officials in full display of the spirit of the Association. The following activities were staged:
(1) Held its 140th Anniversary Reception on 15 November at the Hong Kong City Hall Maxim Palace Restaurant.
(2) Visited the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, and Golden Bauhinia Square on 14 November.
(3) Visited the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong College of Family Physicians on 16 November.
On 16 November , Mr. Tam Chun Kit, Head of Health and Family Planning Bureau of Shunde (left 1) visited Min Yuen Tong.

The Association donated financial assistance to support needy students in Shunde to complete their university education. Mr. Liu Hoi Fai received a cheque from President Poon Kwong Hip and Assistant Hon. Treasurer Sin Wai Kwong.
